{"id":185,"date":"2010-02-01T21:42:14","date_gmt":"2010-02-02T03:42:14","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/davidschalliol.com\/blog\/?p=185"},"modified":"2018-12-17T18:37:11","modified_gmt":"2018-12-18T00:37:11","slug":"openings-in-indianapolis-and-new-orleans","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/davidschalliol.com\/blog\/2010\/02\/01\/openings-in-indianapolis-and-new-orleans\/","title":{"rendered":"Openings in Indianapolis and New Orleans"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I&#8217;m excited to be participating in two out of town openings this weekend.<\/p>\n<p>The first is a solo show entitled &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/mtcomfort.blogspot.com\/2010\/01\/david-schalliol-isolated-building.html\">The Isolated Building<\/a>&#8221; at <a href=\"http:\/\/mtcomfort.blogspot.com\/\">Mt. Comfort Gallery<\/a> in Indianapolis.  It&#8217;s the first show in its new home in the Murphy Art Center, so I decided to really go all-out.  I&#8217;m particularly excited to be working in three different print sizes, all of which should provide significantly different opportunities for interacting with the images. Below is one example of one of the installations before it was installed.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/metroblossom\/4324354850\/\" title=\"Mt. Comfort\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;ll be there all evening, so if you&#8217;re in Indianapolis, it&#8217;d be great to see you.<\/p>\n<p>The second is a group show at the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.neworleansphotoalliance.org\/\">New Orleans Photo Alliance<\/a> entitled &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.neworleansphotoalliance.org\/event.php?id=61\">The American Dream<\/a>,&#8221; juried by <a href=\"http:\/\/admin.tisch.nyu.edu\/object\/WillisD.html\">Deborah Willis<\/a>.
