David Schalliol - REMIX PLACE

This gallery shares selections of my in-process contribution to Remix Place, a collaboration based at the University of Luxembourg initiated for the 2022 European Capital of Culture.

The memories of residents interviewed as a part of Remix Place are an important influence on the work, as is my long-term project in France for the CRP/ Hauts-de-France and an ongoing residency at BPS22 about how communities negotiate possible futures in landscapes inscribed with powerful meanings.

In total, Remix Place includes audio and photographic experiences, a new documentary theater production, community-based conversations, publications, and more. Additional information about Remix Place and its contributors can be found at the project's website.
